He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Ostarly and Helen Walle Ostarly; his siblings, Marion O. Bunney, Georgette O. Laciura, Betty O. Calamari, Helen O. Strohmeyer, John, Jr., Warren, Melvin, Spencer, Gwendlin and Alton Ostarly; and his grandson Ricky L. Villers, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Celeste O. Schindler (Harvey) and Dawn Ostarly (Mike); and his grandchildren, Lauren Schindler (Mike Venski), Michael (Chrissy) and Brian Schindler (Stephanie). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
