It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Delano Roosevelt Ostarly of River Ridge, Louisiana, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Ostarly and Helen Walle Ostarly; his siblings, Marion O. Bunney, Georgette O. Laciura, Betty O. Calamari, Helen O. Strohmeyer, John, Jr., Warren, Melvin, Spencer, Gwendlin and Alton Ostarly; and his grandson Ricky L. Villers, Jr..

He is survived by: his daughters, Celeste O. Schindler (Harvey) and Dawn Ostarly (Mike); and his grandchildren, Lauren Schindler (Mike Venski), Michael (Chrissy) and Brian Schindler (Stephanie). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
