With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Charles Schreiner Sr. of River Ridge, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 27, 2021 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Schreiner and Mattie Braud Schreiner; and his siblings, Carol Kline (George), Marilyn Campbell (Jimmy), Arlene Lombard (Emile) and Louis "Buddy" Schreiner.

He is survived by: his wife Janet; his son Daniel Jr.; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Nuss Schreiner; his grandsons, Cole Daniel and Dylan Charles; his sister Christine Sarchet (Jo Wayne); and his godchildren, Dusty Ward and Dawn Cates. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
