She was predeceased by: her significant other Ralph Bruce Barrett; her granddaughter Bonnie Rae Parker; and her brothers, Nelson LaJaunie Sr., Junius LaJaunie, Francis LaJaunie and Henry LaJaunie.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Parker (Kathy), Bruce Barrett and John Barrett (Ginesse); her grandchildren, Amy Parker, Caitlin Barrett, Morgan Chamberlain (Tom), Emily Barrett and Cassidy Barrett; and her sisters, Linda Firmin, Elva LaJaunie and Carrie Carrigee. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
