He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smith and Laura Smith; his brother Scott Sandy; and his brother-in-law Kevin Brouard. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Smith; his daughter Courtney S. Cunningham (Hal); his stepmother Patricia Smith; his siblings, Thomas M. Smith (Laurel), Jennifer A. Smith, Mary Brouard and Susan Crowell (Jim); his granddaughters, Isabelle, Evelyn and Elise Cunningham; and his pet Butterscotch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
