He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Knippers and Edna West; and his brothers, George Knippers and William Knippers. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Knippers (Tina) of Sulphur, LA, Christopher Knippers (Laura) of Anacoco, LA and Sarah Allison White of Sulphur, LA; and his siblings, Clifford Knippers (Robin) of New Hampshire, James West of Nacogdoches, TX, Patricia Ellen Harness (William) of Montgomery, TX, Carla Harris (Thomas) of Garrison, TX and Sandra Grillette of Ringgold, LA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
