Jones (Ringgold, Louisiana), born in Stamps, Arkansas, who passed away on January 9, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie K. Elliott and Ernest Elliott; her siblings, Helen E. Yancey, Robert Elliott, Ernest "Junior" Elliott and Frank Elliott; and her husband Bennie W. Jones, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Jones; her nieces and nephews, Betty Williams, Shirley White (Jim), Pat Elliott, Steve Horton, Yalanda Rensink and Bo Snellings (Amy); and her sister-in-law Eileen Jones of Huntsville, Ala. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest memorials be made to Woodridge Baptist Church, 850 E. Burt Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, Louisiana 71106.
