It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Howell Sprawls of Ringgold, Louisiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maymie Dubois and Virgil Dubois; her husbands, Robert Ray Howell and Paul Sprawls; her son Robert Ray "Junior" Howell, Jr.; and her siblings, Marshall, Don Ed Dubois and Karen Freeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Elaine Howell Cox (Dennis); her grandchildren, David Joshua Thomas (Alex Green), Desiree Luna and Sadie Howell Wilson (Kory); her great grandchildren, Kimberly, Julio, Natalie, Julie, Marissa, Desi Luna and Deklan Wilson; her stepgrandchildren, Graidey and Forrest Wilson; and her siblings, Kenneth Dubois (Brenda), Richard Dubois (Carolyn), Nancy Howell (Lee "Dub") and Connie Birmingham (Terry). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
