With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Scott Woodard Jr. of Ringgold, Louisiana, who passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Molly Bell Woodard and Scott Woodard Sr.; his sister Susana Huckaby; and his nephew Thomas Clay Huckaby. He is survived by: his wife Mary Claire Woodard; his children, Cecilia Anne Woodard, Ernest Scott Woodard III (Joyce Lengefeld Woodard), Alfred Ernest Woodard II (Christine Young Woodard) and Christopher Finn Woodard (Jillian-Marie Nicole); his sister Stephanie Woodard Erickson; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Christian, Tyler, Madison, Scott, Mikaela and Harper; and his great grandchildren, Lily and Clayton.
Memorials may be given to UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas Texas.
