He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peggy Ann Bloxom Sanford and Malcolm "Mack" Sanford; his brother-in-law Jerry V. Guillot; his sons, Jonathan D. Sanford and Jesse M. Sanford; his siblings, Mike Sanford and Becky Sanford; his granddaughter Izzy Sanford; and his close friend Carolyn Ivey.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hill Crest Memorial Park (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037).
