With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettye Dawn Spainhour of Ringgold, Louisiana, who passed away on August 7, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy A. Gardner and Doris Conly Gardner; her husband Aaron Spainhour; her brother Van Gardner, Sr.; her grandsons, Billy and Johnny Ross Edwards; her son-in-law Ross Edwards; her nephew Van Gardner, Jr.; her niece Libby Gardner; and her sister-in-law Broadway of Texas.
She is survived by: her children, George Cole Spainhour (Paula) of Austin, TX, Cathy Edwards of Jamestown, LA and Debi Hord (Greg Rickert) of Katy, TX; her grandchildren, Riley Spainhour, Jackson Spainhour, Roy Edwards, Rhett Edwards, Regan Edwards, Jason Edwards, Brandee Brown, Nicole Davis and Ashlee Burchfield; her great grandchildren, Phoenix, Karly, Kenna, Oakli, Presley, Malea, Landry, Davis, Holland Kate, Greer, Greta, G. W., Grant, Dylan, Dallas, Stella, Savanna, Scarlett, Peyton and Emmitt; and her sister-in-law Beverly Gardner (Conly). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
