She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence "Hickey" Ruiz; her parents, Robert Roussel and Myrza Brignac Roussel; and her siblings, Norris Roussel, Esther Heltz, Robert "Bob" Roussel, Jr., Ruby Roussel, Sr., Emma Laiche, Marie Kleibert, Russell Roussel, William "Bill" Roussel, Paul Roussel, Marian Entremont, Terry Roussel and Brent Roussel.
She is survived by: her children, Trudy Giardina (Angelo) and Todd Ruiz (Toni); her grandchildren, Lauren Cutrer (Drew), Taylor David (Layne), Madeline Fisher (Adam) and Hilary Bonano (Mason); and her great grandchildren, Ava Cutrer, Rhett, Amelia David, Ayden and Easton Fisher. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (1550 LA-44, Reserve, LA 70084). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
