It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Louis Haydel of Reserve, Louisiana, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Abner Haydel and Amy Brou Haydel; and his brother Lloyd Haydel. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Haydel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in Melvin's name to St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve.
