She is survived by: her parents, Joann Marie Brown and Gregory Brown; her children, Raymond Lewis James, Jr., Monteja'Johanna James (Alex) and Raynard Jeremiah James; and her siblings, Jonathan Jackson (Debrica), Larry Jones, Jr., Laron Jones, Sr. and Taber Davis, Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with extended family.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Assembly Christian Church (3550 W Airline Hwy, Reserve, LA 70084). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
