He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Maurin; his parents, Louis Don Maurin and Audrey Maurin; his stepdaughter Stacey; and his sister Lilly Maurin.

He is survived by: his sons, Shaun Maurin and George Maurin, Jr.; his stepdaughters, Vanessa, Melaine and Wanda; and his brother Donny Maurin. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
