We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025 we had to say goodbye to George Cancienne Jr. of Reserve, Louisiana, born in Lutcher, Louisiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cancienne and Shirley Oubre Cancienne; and his sister-in-law Karen Cancienne. He is survived by: his siblings, Craig Cancienne (Beth), Wayne Cancienne (Grace), Jason Cancienne (Gina), Donna Mabile (Terry), Alan Cancienne (Gina) and Randy Cancienne (Michelle). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (1550 LA-44, Reserve, LA 70084). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
