He is survived by: his children, Donald Heltz, Jr. (Karen), Kevin Heltz, Sr. (Tammy), Aimee Green (James), Rachel Powell (Gene) and Traci Ezell (Ron); his grandchildren, Daniel (Madisen), David Heltz, Shelby H. Ledet (Zach), Kevin Heltz, Jr., Caroline Green, Garrett Powell (Casey), Tyler and Alex Ezell; his great grandchildren, Jase, Sawyer and Hayley; his siblings, Richard "Jay" Heltz, Jr. (Monica), Michael "Mickey" Heltz (late Lotus), Gerrie Laiche (Donald), Ronnie Heltz and Cameron Heltz (Beth); and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Blank and Olan Boudreaux. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
