He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Wiltz Dewees Collins; his sisters, Mona Fritzgerald and Rose Johnston; his daughter Dara Dewees; and his grandchildren, Aaron Chretien, Katrina Dewees and Ryan Geho.
He is survived by: his wife Francoise Dewees; his children, Mike Dewees (Maria) of Kinder, Jared Dewees (Hollie) of Elton, Danielle Chretien (Larry) of Elton and Honera Dewees of Reeves; and his sister Kay Stelly (Jimmy) of Grosse Tete.
