He is survived by: his wife Janie Moreland Shoemaker of Rayville; his sons, Russel K. Shoemaker, Jr. of Puerto Rico and William Lee Shoemaker (Sherri) of San Antonio, TX; his grandson Kenneth Ryan Shoemaker of Dallas, TX; his daughter-in-law Lisa Shoemaker of San Antonio, TX; and his siblings, Mickey Ann Fisher of Rayville, Windell Shoemaker (Faye) of Rayville, Horace Earl Shoemaker of Michigan and Jimmy Wayne Shoemaker of Rayville.
