She was predeceased by: her parents, Huel Spence and Cecil Spence; her former husband Freddie Hughes; her brothers, Keith Spence, Dale Spence, Jeff Spence (Betty) and David Lee "Tush" Spence; and her brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Windell.
She is survived by: her husband Billie Joe Temple; her children, Mike Hughes and Dana Hughes Evans (Allen); her stepsons, Randy Temple (Karen) and Rodney Temple; her grandchildren, Anne Marie Evans, Allison Evans Maitre, Scotty Temple, Brairlyn Temple and Tyler Evan; her great grandchild Kasyn Evans; her siblings, Carrie Spence Windle, Susan Spence Savage (Stacey) and John Michael; and her sisters-in-law, Cheryl Spence and Sandy Spence.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
