He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Rose Peters and Louis Otto Peters, Sr.; his brother Louis O. Peters, Jr.; his nephew Stathum Louis Peters; his grandchildren, Katherine Corinne Rife and Edwin Lee Rife, III; and his great grandchild Timothy Luke Didyoung.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Peters; his children, Stephanie Peters Rife (Lee), Max Peters, Jr. (Dena) and Arthur L. Peters (LeAnne); his grandchildren, Stacey Rife Didyoung (Chris), Katie Rife June (Scott) and Kimberly Peters Reagan (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Jade, Trent, Christina, Forrest and Caleb.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either St. Jude, Salvations Cross, or First Baptist Church Building Fund.
