Linda Stanley Hendrix Rollins was born May 28th 1952 to the union of Aubrey & Earline Stanley. She passed away on March 4, 2023 following a lengthy struggle with chronic illnesses.
Linda was an unforgettable character. She had an unparalleled sense of humor and she was always willing to put in her two cents, even if it wasn't wanted. The things that brought her the most joy was her Home Church, First Baptist of Marion, her family, hunting, her dog Blue and HGTV. Raised as a child in the heart of Richland parish, she grew up knowing the true value of a dollar. She never let obstacles stand in the way of getting the job done. In her younger years, she worked multiple jobs to support her family. At the age of 40, she returned to school and earned her nursing degree. Her nickname was Nurse Ratchet because she was capable of comforting the most difficult of patients. Those who knew and loved her will not soon forget her wisdom, her laughter, and her love. The Lord called her home to join her husband Henry "Billy" Rollins, parents Aubrey Drannon Stanley and Earline Nolan Stanley, and siblings, Gene Stanley, Charles Nolan, Carolyn Hill and Janet Williams.
She is survived by her daughters, Tandi Caldwell (Devin) and Kylie Hendrix (Micah); her grandchildren, Chelsea Robinson (Kip), Hailey Harper (Kam), and Cade Caldwell, her great grandchildren, Jude and Rafe; her siblings, T. K. Stanley (Sandy), Johnny Lee Stanley (Tina), Marilyn Nivans, Ann Harrell (B. J.), Doug Haney (Melissa); sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marlene Stanley and Shorty Williams; and fur baby, Blue. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers were Mark Mann, Will Nivans, Keith Stanley, Keith Smith, Devin Caldwell, Cade Caldwell, Kam Harper, and Kip Robinson. Honorary pallbearers were T.K. Stanley, Earnest Lawrence, Calvin Seymore, Johnny Stanley, Drannon Stanley, Todd Mann, Terry Mann, Nelson Mann, and Kelly Amos.
