She was predeceased by: her husband Estes Summers; her parents, Fred Pettis and Willie Pettis; and her siblings, J. C. Pettis and Maudine Pettis Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, David Summers (Lisa) of Rayville, Dale Summers (Ramona) of Rayville and Daryl Summers (Janice) of Rayville; her grandchildren, Rebecca Mark (Tyler), Julie Lowe (Clinton), Matt Summers (Lauren), John Summers and Samantha Summers; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Ethan, Lily and Maddie.
