It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Roy Jr. of Rayville, Louisiana, born in Mangham, Louisiana, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Roy, and John Roy, Sr.; and his siblings, Billie Roy and Pete Carr. He is survived by: his nephew John Milton; his wife Gail Roy of Rayville, LA; his children, Chuck Roy, Robin of Hot Springs, AR, Rhonda Roy Dahlberg (Larry) of Little Rock, AR and John D. Roy of Start, LA; his grandchildren, Charles W. Roy, Jr., Sherri, Amanda C. Roy, Heather Bond, Haley Roy, Zachary Roy and Sarah D. Sites; his great grandchildren, Mason Turner, Cade Bond and Peyton Roy; his great great grandchildren, Hudson Sites and Christian Robinson; his daughters-in-law, Debbie Roy and Jodie Williams; and his pet Lady.
