It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Lee Sasnett Jr. of Rayville, Louisiana, born in Oak Grove, Louisiana, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Sasnett and Jesse Sasnett; his siblings, Roscoe Sasnett, Susan Carter and Alice Holmes; and his grandson Devin Ray White.
He is survived by: his children, Birtie Stump (Erik) of West Monroe, Jennifer White (Anthony) of Poplarville, MS, Johnathan Lee Sasnett of Pine Bluff, AR and Alesha Banks (Joshua) of Wellborn, FL; his grandchildren, Angel Sasnett, Dakota White, John Allen White, Colton Banks, ZayLee Banks and Hunter Sasnett; and his siblings, William "Bobo" Sasnett (Jeannie) of Epps, Gloria Sasnett Barrett, Melba Turner and Linda McMillan. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
