He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Gammill; his parents, James Kenneth Roberts and Iona Gates Yelverton Roberts; his brother Judge Henry L. Yelverton; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Lejurne Yelverton.
He is survived by: his son Gregory David Roberts (Tammy) of Waco, TX; his grandchildren, Lexi Roberts Adcox (Austin) of Rayville, LA and Garrett David Roberts of Rayville, LA; his sister Shirley Roberts Loughlin (Bill) of West Monroe, LA; and his brother-in-law Tommy Gammill (Mickie) of Long Beach, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Baptist Church (306 Oak Dr, Rayville, LA 71269). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
