He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Temple and Lela Temple; his son Robbie Edney; and his siblings, Billy Wayne Temple, C. A. Temple, Jesse Temple and Shirley Mae Temple.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Temple of Rayville, LA; his sons, Kenny Temple of Jacksonville, FL and Steve Temple of Jacksonville, FL; his stepchildren, Amy Gibson of Meridian, MS and John Blackwell (Sarah) of Rayville, LA; and his brothers, Gene Temple (Judy), Lester Temple (Tommie) and Jimmy Don Temple (Cindy). He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
