It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Wesley Hicks of Rayville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 3, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lorine Hicks; his grandson Shawn Hicks; his stepgrandson Terry Watson; his parents, John Calvin and Lydia Hicks; and his siblings, William Hicks, Jewell Magness, Ione Gilbreath, Ardithe Brown, Rosa Bee, Nora Burns, Bernice Roberts, Claris Johns, Mildred Hicks, Margie Nielsen and Louise Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Watson (Paul) of Rayville, Cecil Hicks of Hebert, Vicki Davis (Jimmy "Bruiser") of Mangham and Becky Dyer (Wade) of Mangham; his grandchildren, Chris Mitchell (Chelsea), Kim Stokes and Tyler Davis; his stepgrandson Scott Watson (Wana); his great grandchildren, Christian, Larkin, Delaney, Kenzie and Addie; his stepgreat-grandson Conner; and his sisters, Alice Caudle of Shreveport and Kathy Sanford of Rayville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
