He is survived by: his wife Annette Newsom of Rayville, LA; his sons, Stacy Newsom of Monroe, LA and Robert Newsom of West Monroe, LA; his grandchildren, Daniel Newsom (Bek), Rachel Ramsey, Mary-Catherine Newsom, David Newsom (Alicia), Jonathan Newsom and Nathan Newsom; his great grandchildren, Madelyn Ramsey, Brody Ramsey, Chap Newsom, Taylor Newsom, Carter Heine and Jackson Heine; and his siblings, Kenneth E. "Shug" Newsom, Lilwin Norman and Frankie Wilkinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
