She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Smith and Sybil Smith; and her sister Charlotte Perritt. She is survived by: her children, LeRoy Gibson, Robert "Bob" Edward Gibson, Jr. (Crystal) and Misty Gibson Odom (Damien); her grandchildren, Shelby Gibson, Joney Royals, Dylan Odom, Drake Odom, Gabe Gibson and Bayleigh Gibson; her great grandchildren, Paislee Royals, Tucker Royals, Wyatt Royals, Zane Gibson and Tate Gibson; her sister Connie Dallas; her brother-in-law Lorenz Perritt; and her pets, Cooper and Willow.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boeuf River Baptist Church (11 Trio Rd, Rayville, LA 71269). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
