With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Gerald Andrus (Rayne, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bruce and Jessie Eula Richard Andrus; his sister Vivian Lucille Curtis; his niece Christa Sonnier; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Smith Andrus, Robert "Bob" Pharr and Robert C. Hornsby.

He is survived by: his children, Mackenzie Andrus Berzas, Mitch Andrus and Jordan Andrus; and his siblings, Barbara Hoffpauir (Donald), Roland Andrus (Jean), Carol Pharr (Frank Vienne), Loretta Hornsby and Joy Hopkins (Harry). He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gossen Funeral Home Inc. (504 N Polk St, Rayne, LA 70578). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church (7111 Branch Hwy, Branch, LA 70516). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Cemetery (7111 Branch Hwy, Branch, LA 70516).
