He was loved and cherished by many people including: his nephew Russel Fontenot of Gott's Cove; his wife Lelia Comeaux Fontenot; his parents, Eugene Fontenot and Eugenia Daigle Fontenot; and his sisters, Laura Brown, Eva Trahan, Anna Fontenot, Ola Blanchard and Lena Fontenot. He was also cherished by other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
