It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Dartez of Rayne, Louisiana, born in Cankton, Louisiana, who passed away on June 13, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elric J. Bourque and Ida Thibodeaux; her stepdaughter Michelle Trahan; and her siblings, J. C. Bourque, Laura Hanks and Jane Babineaux.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Dartez of Rayne; her daughters, Dana Lynn Garza (Richard) of Houston, TX and Dawn Guidry (Jason Melancon) of Rayne; her stepsons, Todd Dartez (Carmel) of Meaux and Troy Dartez of Carencro; her grandchildren, Nicholas Garza, Mia Garza, Brooklyn Melancon, Sarah Dartez, Tyler Dartez and Brittany D. Hernandez; and her sisters, Judith Royer (Samuel) of Cankton and Ruth Anderson (Jackie) of Orange, TX.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
