He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Zayne Michael Trahan; his parents, Walter Trahan and Delia Baronet Trahan; and his brother Harry Trahan. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Simon Trahan of Rayne; his children, Sheila Trahan Delhomme (Dawn) of Scott, Steve Trahan (Amy) of The Woodlands, TX, Kurt Trahan (Shannon) of Rayne and Shane Trahan (Tomme Montana) of Carencro; his grandchildren, Rocky Castellucio, Ashley Castellucio Hoffpauir, Shana Castellucio Canida, Frankie Castellucio, Matthew Trahan, Joey Castellucio, Darian Trahan Touchet, Tara Castellucio Tidwell, Grant Trahan, Emily Trahan, Joseph Trahan and Grace Trahan; and his siblings, Preston Trahan (Brenda) of Lafayette and Agnes Trahan Borne (Bob) of Morgan City. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.

The Trahan family requires all guests wear a face covering and maintain social distancing at the funeral home and church.
