He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward John Olinger and Josephine; his siblings, Ambrose Olinger (Margaret), Hilary Olinger (Melba), Beatrice Olinger Leonards (August), Irene Olinger Petitjean (Ashton) and Mary Jo Olinger; his parents-in-law, Jeanette DuCoté Prather and John Prather; and his siblings-in-law, Georgie Prather, Jeanette Prather Heinen, Yvonne Prather Cramer and Michael Cramer.
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Ruth Olinger; his children, Jude Olinger (Erika), Yvette Bourque (Kirk) and Nancy Choate; his grandchildren, Cameron Choate, Haylie Choate and Grace Olinger; his sister Rose Marie John (late John Namie); and his siblings-in-law, Burton Prather (Cindy), Johnny Heinen (late Jeanette) and Cynthia Robertson (Lester). He is also survived by extended family which included his parents, many aunts/uncles, sisters/brothers, and nieces/nephews.
