He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Elizabeth Kreuser Habetz; his sister Hildegard; his grandson Broc Habetz; and his brother-in-law Anthony "Stoon" Reiners.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores "Bubbles" Zaunbrecher Habetz of Roberts Cove; his children, Jules (Claudia) of Vinton, LA, Chris (Kim) of Vinton, Celeste Lalande (Paul) of Church Point, Damian (Dinah) of Roberts Cove, Fred (Joan) of Vinton, Jackie Valdetero (Doug) of Roberts Cove, Connie Bossier (Kevin) of Roberts Cove and His; his grandchildren, Jake, Scott, Blake Habetz, Hunter, Hali, Kyle Habetz, Alex Lalande, Claire Lalande Gatte, Jaclyn Lalande, Lance Habetz, Simone Habetz Doucet, Bradley, Nathan Habetz, Katelyn Habetz Porter, Brooke Habetz, Andrew, Luke Valdetero, Adam and Natalie Leger; his great grandchildren, Ella, Brody, Brandon, William, Addison, Philip, Benjamin, Colt and Baby Doucet; his sisters, Hilda Habetz Simoneaux (Jerome) of Rayne and Pauline Habetz Reiners of Mowata; his friend Dolores; and his godchildren, Greg Simoneaux, Pat Reiners, Thomas Habetz and Brooke Habetz.
