He was predeceased by: his sister Janice Meche Duplantis; his godchild Jess Clay Meche; and his grandparents, Claby Meche, Meline Alleman Meche, Alexie Trahan and Armance Falcon Trahan.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Harrington Meche of Rayne, LA; his daughter Tera Lyn Meche Cain (Christopher Shawn) of Lafayette, LA; his grandchildren, Christopher Scott Breaux (Callie) of Lafayette, LA and Gavin Drew Cain of Lafayette, LA; his great grandchild Dakota Jess Breaux; and his siblings, Dale Meche (Linda) of Rayne, LA, Robert Meche (Annette) of Church Point, LA and Debbie Meche Broussard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
