He was predeceased by: his parents, Calais Hanks and Theresa Richard Hanks; his parents-in-law, Alexie "Tex", Merella Hebert (John Richard) and Lisa Carrier; his godparents, Deynoodt Richard (Dorothy) and Edith Falcon (Wilfred); and his grandparents, Adam, Leah Quebeaux Hanks, Simon and Donatale Breaux Richard.
He is survived by: his daughter Chalette Hanks; his granddaughter Mariette Credeur (Hunter Ahlers); his great grandchild Oakley Ahlers; his siblings, Marie Hanks and Ronald Hanks; the mother of his child Debbie Hanks; his siblings-in-law, Lynette Reid (Randall), Tony Hebert and Craig Hebert (Audrey); his nieces, Chelby Reid and Amy Smith (Brad); his nephew Benji Hebert (Rebecca); and his close friends, Madea Richard, Rodney Thibodeaux and Frankie Thibodeaux.
