He was predeceased by: his wife Lena Alleman Credeur; his son Dale Credeur; his stepdaughters, Betty Pourcio and Dorothy Royer; his stepgranddaughter Tammy Gaudet; his great great grandchild Bridget Gaudet; his parents, Alfred Credeur and Elvina G. Credeur; and his siblings, Raoul, Paul Credeur and Nita Drake.
He is survived by: his children, Elvina Hollier of Duson, Barbara Dearman of Duson, Nelson Credeur, Jr. of Duson and James Alleman of Scott; his stepdaughter Earline Alleman of Duson; and his sister-in-law Helen Bourque Credeur of Lafayette. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, fifty one great-grandchildren and twenty five great-great-grandchildren; and three nieces.
