He is survived by: his children, Annie P. Habetz (Charles) of Rayne, Elizabeth McFarlain of Crowley, Deborah Daigle of Mire, Anthony Beard of Link, Byron Beard of Link and Gerri Borde (Joe) of Crowley; and his brother Levi Beard of Rayne. He is also survived by twenty two grandchildren, forty six great grandchildren, twenty two great great grandchildren.
