She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Steven; her parents, Charlie Broussard and Anna Broussard; her siblings, Nettie Ozone, Sidney Broussard and Clopha Broussard; her nephews, Johnny Sinegal and Patrick Sinegal; and her niece Barbara Ozone.
She is survived by: her son Varice Steven of Rayne, LA; her grandchildren, VyShonna Steven, VyShonn Forte of Norfolk, VA, Dejane Davis, Varisha Steven, Varicia Steven and Varice Steven, Jr. of Rayne, LA; her siblings, Rose Sinegal of Rayne, LA, Agnes Benjamin Jr. (Eugene) of Lafayette, LA and Clifton Broussard of Abbeville, LA; and her close friend Melanie Watters. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all attendees must wear masks or face coverings.
