She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Doucet, Sr. and Marie Lucia Sonnier Doucet of Church Point, LA; her husband James Jennings Owens, Jr.; her son James Gerald "Jerry" Owens of Beavercreek, OH; her siblings, Carrie Belleau, Theresa Benoit, Harry Doucet and Darrell Doucet; and her granddaughter Stephanie Lynne.
She is survived by: her sons, John Emil Owens (Sherryl Gassen Owens) of Rayne, LA and David Henry Owens (Jan Baltus) of Orlando, FL; her grandchildren, Jamie Lynn, Lena Marie, Donald James, Sean Gabriel, Matthew David, Michael James and Justin Kent; her great grandchildren, Skyler Elizabeth, Austin Cole, Caleb James, Charlotte Ann, Xander James and Hazel Doucet; and her siblings, Leona LaVergne, Eda Daigle and Adam Doucet, Jr.. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
