It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Val Meche (Rayne, Louisiana), who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meche and Pamela Martin Meche; and his siblings, Isabelle Meche, Joyce Meche, Grace Meche Hendricks, Willie Belle Meche Efferson, Lorena "Sweet" Meche Reynaud, Solomon Meche and Cleven Meche.
He is survived by: his wife Lurnice Leon Meche of Rayne; his children, Valarie Meche of Rayne, Paulette Meche Benoit (Mike) of Scott and Paul Meche (Leigh Ann) of Carencro; and his granddaughters, Averi Meche of Carencro and Caleigh Meche of Carencro.
