He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitney Brasseaux and Pearl H. Brasseaux; and his sister Joy Pryor. He is survived by: his children, Ginger Brasseaux Prejean (Toby Prejean) of Carencro, Brooke Brasseaux of Rayne, Shannon Brasseaux of Baton Rouge and Scotty Brasseaux of Rayne; and his sister Deanna (Camey Doucet) of Lafayette. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
