With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lavergne (Rayne, Louisiana), who passed away on October 25, 2018 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza Lavergne and Rose Thibodeaux Lavergne; and his brother-in-law Charles Dupont. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Melancon Lavergne of Crowley, LA; his stepdaughter Lynette Racca (William) of Arkansas; his stepgrandchildren, Timmi Lyn Guidry and Brennan Jude Guidry; and his sister Jeannette Dupont of Rayne, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
