With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Arceneaux of Rayne, Louisiana, who passed away on September 16, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Klaude Arceneaux and Alphia Holloway; and his siblings, Letie Guidry, Joyce Melancon, Phyliss Arceneaux and Joseph Arceneaux.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Richard Arceneaux of Rayne; his children, Randall (Lisa Arceneaux) of Amarillo, TX, Troy (Tricia Arceneaux) of Rayne, Dewayne (Michelle Arceneaux) of Mire, Shane Arceneaux of Rayne, Annette (Steve Hollier) of Mire and Kimberly (Mitchell Olivier) of Mire; and his sister Nell Menard of Rayne. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren.
