It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard Arceneaux (Rayne, Louisiana), who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Franciska "Frankie" Vienne Arceneaux; his grandson Aaron Arceneaux; his son-in-law Joey Bauer; his parents, Elton Arceneaux, Sr. and Eunice Chaisson Arceneaux; his siblings, Elton Arceneaux, Jr. and Elaine Plattsmier; his parents-in-law, Frank and Camilla Vienne; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Breaux, Susan Vienne, Linda Arceneaux, Donald Stutes and Ronnie Rue.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Bauer, Trina Arceneaux, Sara Cary (Garet), Troy Arceneaux (Teryl), Mark Arceneaux, Lance Arceneaux (Grady) and Timothy Arceneaux (Allison); his siblings, Mona Stutes, Barbara Rue, Debbie Arceneaux and John "Piggy" Arceneaux; his aunt Vivian Faul; his brother Anthony; his sister-in-law Rhena Cramer; his brother Keith Vienne; and his siblings-in-law, Mona Vienne, Dean Vienne and Bradley Breaux. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
