He was predeceased by: his children, Karen Vidrine and Dennis Paul Stelly; his great grandchild Laila Pearl Stutes; his son-in-law Chester Alleman; his parents, Dennis Stelly and Lucille A. Stelly; his siblings, Chester Stelly and Rhena Lavergne; his brother-in-law Dominic Lavergne; his nephews, Layne Stelly and Glen Lavergne; and his niece Cindy Hebert.
He is survived by: his spouse Verelin D. Stelly of Duson; and his children, Freddie, Jr. (Karen Stelly) of Mire, Mark (Sally Stelly) of Breaux Bridge, Audrey Stelly of Duson, Gail (Steven Thibodeaux) of Morse, Tammy Stelly (Floyd Mouton) of Duson and Christy (Michael Briggs) of Arnaudville. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren.
