She was predeceased by: her parents, Madeline Sattler Gardiner and Gerald Wayman Gardiner; her husband Wilton "Bill" Joseph Norris, Jr.; her brother James "Dee" Aldwin Gardiner; her aunt Etta Guidry; and her goddaughter Jaime Gardiner Henderson.
She is survived by: her children, Emma Claire Fremaux Rees of Pensacola, FL, Dr. Nicole Fremaux Keehn (Gordon Keehn) of The Villages, FL. and Andre L. Fremaux (Fran Lauve Fremaux) of Baton Rouge, LA; her stepsons, Wilton J. "Chip" Norris III (Julie Norris) of Mountain Home, AR and Dr. George C. Rees of Pensacola, FL.; her granddaughter Dr. Madeline A. Rees; her stepgrandchildren, Wilton J. "Wil" Norris IV (Tilda) of Mountain Home, AR and Lauren J. Norris Morgan (Bradan Morgan) of Mountain Home, AR; her stepgreat-granddaughter Audrey Morgan of Mountain Home, AR.; her nieces and nephews, Todd Gardiner (Shawne) of Crowley, Tisha Gardiner Collado (Mike) of Lafayette, Jody Gardiner Hammes (Terry) of Lafayette and Jarrod Gardiner (Kecia) of Mire; and her sister-in-law Norma Lee Dodge Gardiner of Rayne.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (401 S Adams Ave, Rayne, LA 70578). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 9:20 AM and at 9:25 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at the Our Lady of the Scared Heart Cemetery (118 N Rogers St, Church Point, LA 70525).
