She was loved and cherished by many people including: her stepdaughter Mary Alice Petitjean of Rayne; her grandson Jonathon Petitjean; her nieces and nephews, Connie Melancon (Janet) of Egan, David Melancon (Marlene) of Rayne, Yancy Melancon (Kim) of Grand Junction, CO, Paula Roberts (Calvin) of Breaux Bridge, Jessica Roger (Joe) of Erath and Tina Gautreaux (Keith Lenormand) of Sunset; her husband Henry Ruptier; her parents, Gladue Abshire and Angelle Bonin Abshire; her grandson Jason Petitjean; and her sister Mary Lorina Abshire Gautreaux. She was also cherished by several great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
