He was predeceased by: his parents, Edovic Benoit and Beatrice Mier; his former wife Frances Benoit; and his brother James Benoit. He is survived by: his wife Natalie Marie Benoit of Rayne; his children, Trudy Hooper of Rayne, Troy Benoit of Rayne and Michael Prejean of Rayne; and his daughter-in-law Jane Benoit of Rayne. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Duhon Funeral Home - Rayne (900 E Texas Ave, Rayne, LA 70578). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
